Windsor Light Music Theatre presents its Fall 2025 production of Joseph and theAmazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Andrew LloydWebber. This show is an uplifting and vibrant musical that tells the story of Joseph, ayoung man with dreams and aspirations. Set in a colourful, fantastical world, it captureshis journey of hope, resilience, and self-discovery as he navigates challenges andtriumphs. With catchy songs, lively choreography, and a joyous spirit, the showcelebrates the power of dreams, family bonds, and the importance of believing inoneself. The dazzling technicolor coat symbolizes Joseph’s uniqueness and themessage that everyone has something special to offer.
IMPORTANT DATES AND TIMES:
Thursday, May 15th at 7:00pm - Optional Info/Dance Night (Adults Only)
Tuesday, May 20th beginning at 7:00pm - Lead Auditions
Leads will be auditioned individually and by appointment.
Thursday, May 22nd at 7:00pm - Ensemble / Pit / Dance Auditions
The ensemble and pit chorus will be auditioned as a whole group starting at 7pm. Those auditioning for leads should be available for the dance audition.
Saturday, May 24th from noon until 2:00pm - Children’s Chorus Auditions
The children’s chorus auditions will be whole group and will be required the whole time.
Monday, May 26th at 7:00pm - Callback Auditions
Callbacks will be by invitation only.
Thursday, May 29th at 7:00pm - 1st Rehearsal / Meet the Cast
Seeking diverse performers from all backgrounds. Newcomers are welcomed and encouraged to join the Windsor Light Music Theatre Community!
NOTE: If you are interested in joining us on the crew or in a backstage, creative department, there will be a sign-up form live very soon!
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:

Registration is required for all auditions.

Sheet music will be made available in advance. Come prepared to sing a show specific song from the list provided in the official audition notice and dress comfortably to participate.

Auditions take place at the WLMT Rehearsal Hall (2491 Jos St. Louis St. Windsor).

All adult Ensemble, Pit Chorus and Lead roles are limited to age 16 and above.

The Children’s Chorus is 8-13 years old.

Adult rehearsals will be Monday and Thursday evenings from 7:00pm-10:00pm at the WLMT Rehearsal Hall

Children’s Chorus rehearsals will be Mondays from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the WLMT Rehearsal Hall for the months of June, August and September. In October and November the rehearsals will be the same time with the adult cast from 7:00pm-10:00pm.

Please note — not everyone will be required every Monday and Thursday. All rehearsals will be scheduled in advance for your personal scheduling.

Attendance at scheduled rehearsals is mandatory. If poor attendance or tardiness interrupts the rehearsal process, you will be replaced or removed from a number according to the discretion of the Director.
